Fans will enjoy interactive Fire & Police displays indoor on the Concourse and outdoors on the North Plaza – as well as a performance by the Columbus Police & Fire Pipes & Drums!
First Responder Face-Off tickets include admission to Ohio State vs PSU at 6:30pm!
Second Intermission – Chuck A Puck
Purchase your Chuck-A-Pucks at the Hockey Helping Heroes table located on the Northeast Concourse of the arena. The Chuck-A-Puck contest offers 5 opportunities to win with a $500 Grand Prize for landing in the center face-off circle.
Second Intermission – Shoot to Win
Register at the First Responder Face-Off Foundation table located on the Northeast Concourse as you enter the arena. Three lucky contestants will be drawn for their chance to shoot from center ice to the goal for $10,000!

Updated Off-Duty Law Enforcement
Conceal Carry Policy
Off-duty, sworn law enforcement officials employed full-time by The Ohio State University Police Division, the City of Columbus Division of Police, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office or the Ohio State Highway Patrol, who are in compliance with all applicable legal requirements, are permitted to carry a concealed firearm on all university property located within the jurisdiction of their home agency.
All other law enforcement officers employed by state and local agencies within the State of Ohio are only permitted to carry concealed while off-duty in campus establishments that serve the public (e.g., Ohio Stadium, Schottenstein Center, Ohio Union).
Schottenstein Center off-duty law enforcement weapon check-in procedure
State and local officers employed by agencies within the State of Ohio will be required to check in with Law Enforcement at any gate prior to entering the Schottenstein Center and to follow all protocols and check-in procedures established by the university. Officers will be required to present their agency ID card and admission ticket at the gate.
