In partnership with our friends at the Cleveland Fire Fighters IAFF Local 93 and the Cleveland Browns, we’ve been tasked with putting together First Responder teams from across the region to “break-in” the outdoor ice at FirstEnergy Stadium ahead of the Buckeyes/Wolverines outdoor game.

The “break-in” will be Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 9:30am to 3:30pm and offer the experience for up to 12 First Responder teams for a game on the outdoor ice. Your participation will also be a fundraiser for fallen Cleveland Firefighter Johnny Tetrick’s daughters, proceeds to help send them to the IAFF Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial where their fathers’ name will be placed on the wall.

This is not a tournament, rather a once in a lifetime opportunity and experience for your team to play on outdoor ice at FirstEnergy Stadium – and do some good in the process of it all.

Post Event Gathering:
A post-event reception will be held at the CPPA Hall starting at 5pm. The cost is $20 per person and includes food and drinks.

Daytime Food & Refreshments:
With many teams playing at different times, we have set up with Camino Taco & Tequila Bar and Gillespie’s Map Room (both within walking distance of FirstEnergy Stadium) to offer food & refreshments throughout the day.
